THE FOURTH ASIA CONTENT BUSINESS SUMMIT TO BE HELD IN TOKYO
September, 2014
Recent dramatic growth in Asian markets has been attracting Japan’s content industry’s attention. In light of this situation, on October 21 and 22, 2014, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will hold an Asia Content Business Summit (ACBS) in Tokyo for the first time in three years.

On October 21, an open seminar will be held at Hotel Nikko Tokyo in Daiba, Minato Ward, Tokyo, bringing the related public-private sectors in the content industry from Asian regions together. At the seminar, participants will discuss the latest topics, including measures for encouraging the industry and trends in the market. It will be opened to the public, and METI wishes that people who are interested in such measures in Asia and in business expansion to other countries will participate.

In addition to the open seminar above, the ACBS will provide a private dialogue among related people from the governments and related organizations on October 22, and participants will discuss specific future approaches concerning the industry based on the results of the open seminar. The results of the dialogue will be publicized at a later date.
